STORY
Cordelia is a legendary character from medieval times, of whom William Shakespeare's play "King Lear” is based. She is the youngest daughter of King Lear and is known for her honesty and loyalty. In the play, the king decides to divide his kingdom among his three daughters based on how much they profess to love him. Cordelia, being honest and unwilling to flatter her father, refuses to participate in the game of flattery and instead speaks truthfully, saying that she loves him as a daughter should, but not more. This angers King Lear, who disowns her and divides his kingdom between her two sisters.
Despite being banished by her father, Cordelia remains loyal to him and returns to help him when he is in trouble. She leads an army to fight against her sisters and their husbands, who have taken over the kingdom and mistreated King Lear. Cordelia's army wins the battle, but unfortunately, she is captured and ultimately dies.
Cordelia's positive traits as a character include her honesty, loyalty, and courage. She is not afraid to speak the truth, even if it means going against her father's wishes. Her loyalty to her father is unwavering, even when he disowns her. She also shows great courage in leading an army to fight against her sisters and their husbands, despite being outnumbered.
Overall, Cordelia is a strong and admirable character with great integrity, who stands up for what she believes in and remains loyal to those she loves, even in the face of hardship and betrayal.
