Ariadne - Mistress of the Labyrinth?

Ariadne, whose thread took Theseus through the labyrinth, was a princess of Crete or a Minoan goddess. As a deity, she was the mistress of the labyrinth, a mortal dance game that no living person ever leaves. Left by Theseus, hoisting black sails, asleep on the island of Naxos, she became the wife of Dionysus, whose wedding crown was thrown into the sky and became the constellation of the Northern Crown.
